01Who we are
This policy covers the MultiDesk app for Apple Vision Pro and its free MultiDesk companion app for Mac, developed by Devpool. Together they let you view and control your Mac's virtual displays and app windows in the headset. MultiDesk is an independent product and is not affiliated with Apple.
02What we collect
Nothing. We do not collect, transmit or retain any personal data.
- No account or email is required.
- No analytics, tracking, advertising or third-party SDKs are embedded.
- No usage statistics or crash reports are sent to us.
03How your screen and input are handled
The Mac companion captures only the virtual displays and the windows you choose to stream, encodes them as video and sends them straight to your paired Vision Pro. Your taps, drags, scrolls and keystrokes travel back the same way.
- Everything travels device-to-device on your own network. Nothing passes through us or any external service.
- Connections are paired with a 4-digit code shown on your Mac, and video is only sent to the paired device.
- Video frames and input events are processed in real time and are never recorded or stored.
- Settings such as display positions are saved only on your own devices.
04Permissions we ask for
Local Network (Vision Pro and Mac)
Used to discover your Mac and connect to it on the same network. It is not used to reach the internet.
Screen Recording (Mac)
Lets the companion capture the displays and windows you stream. It can be revoked in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording.
Accessibility (Mac)
Lets your clicks, scrolls and keystrokes from the headset act on your Mac, and brings the window you're using to the front. It can be revoked in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
05Third parties
We share no data with third parties, because we collect none. The Vision Pro app is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple on the App Store, under Apple's Privacy Policy. We never receive your payment details.
06Children's privacy
MultiDesk is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed at children. Since we collect no personal data from anyone, we collect none from children.
07Changes to this policy
If the app ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, this page will be updated along with the date above.
